​Policies for All Classes

• Students will not be admitted to any class if they are not properly dressed or their hair is not tied up.

• Students MUST wear their hair in a bun for all ballet and ballet combo classes. For all other classes, hair must be neatly off their face and tied back in a ponytail.

• No outside footwear permitted in the dance classroom.

• No hoop earrings or large jewelry permitted in class.

• Please put your name in your dance shoes, dance bag, and on all belongings.

 

Pre Level (Ages 3-4)

 (Pink leotard (skirt attached), pink tights for all classes)

• Ballet – Pink ballet slippers (Full sole)

• Tap (only needed for ballet/tap combo class) – Capezio 3800C- velcro-color- black patent leather 

 

Basic Level (Kindergarten-1st Grade)

 (Light blue leotard, pink tights, hair in secure bun for Ballet & Jazz classes)

• Ballet/Jazz – Pink ballet slippers (Full sole) and Jazz shoe Capezio EJ2 slip on in caramel

• Hip Hop/Jazz – Any color leotard or fitted t-shirt and tights with black athletic shorts or form fitting sweatpants. Sneakers (students can either purchase dance sneakers (Pastry Pop Tart Glitter Hip Hop Dance Sneaker in Black) or they must wear any high top sneakers that will not be worn outside).

Classes for 2nd-4th Grade

• Ballet/Lyrical I (2nd -3rd grade) – Light Purple leotard, pink tights, hair in a secure bun.

  • Pink ballet slippers (Split sole).

  • Lyrical - 1/2 sole leather - Capezio (nude)

• Ballet/Jazz I (2nd-4th grade) - Light Purple leotard, pink tights, hair in a secure bun.

  • Pink ballet slippers (Split sole).

  • Jazz - Capezio EJ2 slip on in caramel

• Hip Hop/Jazz I (3rd-4th grade) – Any color leotard or fitted t-shirt and tights with black athletic shorts or form fitting sweatpants. Sneakers (students can either purchase dance sneakers (Pastry Pop Tart Glitter Hip Hop Dance Sneaker in Black) or they must wear any high top sneakers that will not be worn outside).

Classes for 4th Grade & up​

• Ballet/Lyrical II (4th-6th grade) – Black leotard, pink tights, hair in a secure bun.

  • Pink ballet slippers (Split sole).

  • Lyrical - 1/2 sole leather - Capezio (nude)

• Hip Hop/Jazz II & III (9 & up) – Any color leotard or fitted t-shirt and tights with black athletic shorts or form fitting sweatpants. Sneakers (students can either purchase dance sneakers (Pastry Pop Tart Glitter Hip Hop Dance Sneaker in Black) or they must wear any high top sneakers that will not be worn outside).

Teen-Adult Level

• Ballet/Lyrical III (12 & up) – Any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (Split sole). Must wear hair in a secure bun.

• Adult Contemporary – Form fitting athletic wear​

  • Jazz - Slip on jazz shoe (suggested brand: Capezio EJ2 slip on in caramel)

• Hip Hop/Jazz II & III – Any color leotard or fitted t-shirt and tights with black athletic shorts or form fitting sweatpants. Sneakers (students can either purchase dance sneakers (Pastry Pop Tart Glitter Hip Hop Dance Sneaker in Black) or they must wear any high top sneakers that will not be worn outside).

Boys Dance Wear

• Ballet – White or Black Fitted T-shirt, black athletic shorts or fitted stretch pants, black ballet shoes

• Hip-Hop/Jazz/Tap/Lyrical – T-shirt (any color), black athletic shorts or fitted sweatpants

  • Jazz: Capezio EJ2 slip on in black

  • Lyrical: 1/2 sole leather - Capezio (nude)

  • Tap: tap shoes (Oxford, Black)

  • Hip Hop: Sneakers (students can either purchase dance sneakers (Pastry Pop Tart Glitter Hip Hop Dance Sneaker in Black) or they must wear any high top sneakers that will not be worn outside).

LDS Competition Team (Mini, Petite, Junior, and Elite)

• Girls – Black leotard, tan tights, black athletic fitted shorts, Jazz shoes - Capezio EJ2 slip on in caramel

• Boys – T-shirt (any color), black athletic shorts or fitted sweatpants, jazz shoes - Capezio EJ2 slip on in black

**Team Lyrical I and II will require 1/2 sole leather - Capezio (nude) lyrical shoes.**
