We welcome students ages 9 & up with previous dance experience to join our hip hop team!

HIP HOP TEAM AUDITION SEPTEMBER 4, 2024

Students ages 9 & up with previous dance experience are welcome to audition for the 2024-2025 Hip Hop Team on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 7:00-8:00pm. 

 

We will announce who made the Hip Hop Team prior to the start of our fall classes (classes start September 9). Students joining the team will need to fulfill the requirements listed below.

 

SUMMER AUDITION PREP

To help students prepare for the September audition, we highly recommend they take our summer Hip Hop class Wednesday 6:45-7:30pm July 10, 17, 24 and August 7, 14, 21. Students who register for the class must take a minimum of 3 weeks. Please email us at loveofdancestudionj@gmail.com for pricing information and to register.

HIP HOP TEAM REQUIREMENTS

Being on the competition team is a commitment. Team students must attend their weekly classes, dress rehearsals, competitions, and our June recital.

 

SCHOOL YEAR CLASSES

Students who are selected for the team will be required to take two classes during the 2024-2025 school year. 

1. Hip Hop Technique Class Wednesday 6:45-7:45pm

2. Hip Hop Team Class Wednesday 7:45-8:30pm

COMPETITIONS

Our team students compete locally in New Jersey! We compete at Starbound, Beyond the Stars, Breakout, and many more! Team members will be required to attend three competitions during the season throughout the months of February-May. Competition dates will be announced in September at the start of the school year. ​​​
