LDS Competition Technical Team is for dedicated students who are ready to bring their dancing to the next level!

ABOUT THE LDS COMPETITION TECH TEAM

LDS performance team allows students to gain performance skills and build confidence. It gives students several performance opportunities and the experience of working closely with their teachers and teammates.

 

TECH TEAM LEVEL PLACEMENT

We offer teams for students ages 5 to teen. Our Tech Team is split into levels based on age and ability. Students will be assessed for level placement during summer classes. Further auditions may be requested and would be held in late August or early September prior to the start of our school year.

 Team Levels:

• Mini Level Team (Kindergarten-2nd Grade) 

• Petite Level Team (3rd-4th Grade) 

• Junior Level Team (10 & up)

• Elite Level Team (Ages 11 & up)

CLASS REQUIREMENTS

Throughout the September-June school year, team members are required to take classes in various forms of dance in order to enhance their technique and broaden their dancing. Team members are also required to take summer classes either in July and August to maintain skill level and determine level placement for the upcoming season. Class requirements vary per level.

COMPETITIONS

Our students compete in competitions locally in New Jersey! We compete at Starbound, Beyond the Stars, Breakout, and many more! Team members will be required to attend three competitions during the season throughout the months of February-May. Competition dates will be announced prior to the start of the school year.​​

INTERESTED IN JOINING OUR TECH TEAM?​

The first step to joining our LDS Competition Technical Team is registering for our team summer classes! All students interested in joining the team for the upcoming season must fulfill the team summer class requirements. During summer classes, we will assess students' ability and level as well as determine team placement.
